City leaders from Machesney Park, including Mayor Linda Vaughn helped cut the ribbon on the opening of the new Goodwill Store at 8010 North Second Avenue in Machesney Park today. Mayor Vaughn was joined by numerous City Council Members, Parks Chamber of Commerce Manager, Diana Johnson; Rockford Chamber of Commerce President Einar Forsman. Goodwill Board members, employees, Craig Grugel, Retail Director and Sam Schmitz, President of Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois and Wisconsin Stateline Area, Inc. welcomed everyone to the celebration.
